MF55 Thin Film Thermistor
MF55 series is a thin film type thermistor, NTC a chip is soldered on a thin lead frame, and then packaged with an insulating polymer film. The maximum thickness is only 0.6mm (usually 0.5mm). Film-type thermistors are more effective at measuring surface temperature, or can be mounted in a tiny gap.

Notes:
(5) Matters needing attention:
1). The MF55 series thermistor is a thin film thermistor. Please do not shake, squeeze, or pull hard at the base of the two pins. Welding method: The metal body is directly welded to the body for welding. Do not use soldering to avoid mis-soldering. Please do not bend the resistor wire frame at will to prevent the chip and wire frame from falling off, causing poor resistance;
2). The temperature during welding shall not exceed 300°C, and the welding time shall not exceed 0.5 seconds;
3). Use a heat gun when shrinking the sleeve, and the temperature of the air gun should be controlled at about 120°C;
4). When welding, use a constant-temperature soldering iron with a flat tip. Hold the resistor in one hand and the wire in one hand for butt welding, which can improve production efficiency and shorten welding time;
5). Special note: Do not touch the chip (i.e. the top of the resistor) with your hands!
(6) Do not test the MF55 thermistor in the air. The temperature difference in the air is large and the measurement is very inaccurate. It often produces deviations of more than 1-2°C. A high-precision constant-temperature oil tank must be used for measurement, and the NTC to be measured is placed in the constant-temperature oil tank. Finally, the temperature of the thermostatic bath must be stable before use.
