Measurement conditions
Maximum applied voltage: the maximum voltage that can be continuously applied to the component in the dark;
Dark resistance: The resistance value at the 10th second after turning off the 10Lux light;
Maximum power consumption: Maximum power consumption when the ambient temperature is 25°C;
Brightness resistance: Test value under 10Lux light of standard light source (color temperature 2854K) after irradiation with 400-600Lux light for 2 hours;
γ value: The logarithm of the ratio of the standard resistance value under 10Lux illumination and 100Lux illumination.
Lg (R10/R100)
γ= =Lg(R10/R100)
Lg (100/10)
R10、R100 are the resistance values under 10Lux and 100Lux illumination respectively (the tolerance of γ is ±0.1)
Precautions
1. This product is packed with environmentally friendly materials, with 200 pieces in small packaging and 2,000 pieces in large packaging;
2. Avoid storing this product in humid and high-temperature environments;
3. It should be stored in non-corrosive gas, otherwise the tin plating layer will be oxidized and the solderability will be reduced.
Therefore, it should be used as soon as possible after opening the package.
4. Working environment humidity ≦95%
5. The welding time should be as short as possible; immerse it in 230℃ tin liquid (Sn63 Pb37) to a distance of 5mm from the CdS photoresistor body and maintain it for 3-5 seconds.
6. Note that the lead welding position should be more than 4mm away from the ceramic base.
Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) is an important component for sensing light intensity. It applies the GM55 series photoresistor, also known as 12mm series photoresistor, which is capable of providing reliable, fast and low-power solutions for a wide range of applications. With the response time of rise 30ms and decline 30ms, it can consume only 90mw power and support up to 150 V Max Voltage. Moreover, when the environmental brightness is 10Lux, the brightness resistor should be in the range from 2 to 5 KΩ. All the products in this series feature a 5mm lead length. With its excellent performance, Light Dependent Resistor is definitely an ideal choice for various light intensity sensing applications.
